The first Exam of the whole school was held this last week. The work is progressing favourably on the whole. A good many children of advanced age, but very backward in all subjects, somewhat mar the progress of the junior children. Two of these children do not know their letters, & have not been to school before.

Attendance considerably down to day owing to inclement weather.

This school continues to increase in numbers. The work on the whole is satisfactory; the infants produce some really good work.
