Miss Martin is absent today.

Word has been Received that Miss Martin will not be able to return to school this week. She has respiratory Catarrh. LB

Today from 3 o'clock the children are having a Xmas party, to which the Managers have kindly consented. LB

23 December 1927

Christmas holiday.

9 January 1928

The school reopened today. Thirty-six children have been transferred to the Senior Department. The end of the school year has been altered to after the Midsummer holidays instead of after the Easter holidays. For this reason it was thought advisable to have an interim promotion at this time of the year. The average age of these children is 9 years and 9 days. LB
