Miss Brown H.M.I. visited school today. She intends to come again sometime after the holiday to complete the visit. LB.

25 August 1930

Today I have transferred 68 children to the Senior Dept. The average age of these children is 8yrs. 11 mths. 7days.

20 September 1930 · LB

All the classes visited Marden cornfield today to see reaping-machine at work. Time 2.15pm — 3.55pm. LB.

10 September 1930

There will be a slight alteration in the afternoon timetable in Cl. 1 and 2 to allow for the lesson on 'breadmaking'

I have returned to duty today having been absent from school four days owing to a bronchitis. LB.

The quarterly school cleaning has begun with the washing of two classrooms. It is 18 weeks since these rooms were done last time. Besides being 5 weeks late the cleaning is far from satisfactory. Last note May 10th LB.
