Owing to lighting conditions it has been found necessary to alter the times of opening & closing school. School times will be 9.30 a.m till 12 noon, 1.30 pm till 4 pm

Mr. Crewe H.M.I visited school today and saw work in all four classes.

Miss Robison has been absent for three days, Nov. 20th 21st & 22nd with a sprained ankle. She returned to school today, Monday.

An 'alert' sounded at 3.10 pm today. The children went to shelters & remained there till 3.30 pm

Checked registers of Classes S1 I. (30) Class III (20). II. 23 and found all correct.

6 January 1941

School closed on Dec. 20th 1940 for Christmas & reopened today.

Owing to the presence of an unexploded mine in dangerous proximity to the school, school was closed for this afternoon. This was done on the advice of the police.

The local Health Department conducted a diphtheria immunisation in school to-day. children were immunised.

13 February 1941

An 'alert' was sounded at 2.30 pm today. The children went to shelters & remained till the 'all clear' at 3.5 pm.

The school Medical Officer has conducted a medical examination throughout the school. He was in attendance
