12 October 1908

Mr Ramsey, the County Drill Inspector, visited this School this afternoon. Drill was taken from 3.30 to 4.0.

16 October 1908

Average attendance this week 176.1. N° on books = 186 Percentage 94.7.

23 October 1908

Nine children were promoted to-day for consistently good work — three from St II to St III and six from St IV to St V

26 October 1908

An interesting excursion was made on Saturday afternoon last, by about 60 of the children from Stds II and III, to Holywell Dene, under the supervision of Miss Hope and Miss Warrener. Specimens of leaves &c were collected and an instructive chat preceded games.

28 October 1908

The school was visited this afternoon by Miss Robertson, Instructress in Needlework.

30 October 1908

The first quarter of this reorganised department concluded to day. Average attendance for the quarter = 166, which is much below present average owing to small number of admissions during the first week.

9 November 1908

Three admissions to day bring the number on the books up to 190. Mr Northrop visited the School this morning.
