Miss Warriner absent to-day through illness. Attendance this week = 89.6%. again seriously affected by prevalence of colds.

W.H. Clothier, having been granted leave of absence for one week to sit for B.Litt. examination, I am taking the opportunity of conducting a term examination of Stds IV and V in all subjects.

4 December 1908

W.H. Clothier returned to duty to day. He has succeeded in obtaining the B. Litt. degree. No on books 193. Average 179. 92.8%

Annie & Hall - pupil-teacher - absent from school to-day through illness.

Annie Hall absent to day, to sit Preliminary Certificate Examination

Attendance this week = 90%. St III still remains the greatest sufferer from absences owing to colds &c.

Christmas parties for the school children were held during the evenings of 22nd & 23rd December. School closed to day for Xmas Vacation

School reopened to day.

Attendance shows a welcome improvement. Average this week = 179. Percentage = 92.6

Admitted one child. Four children taken off the books
