Miss Hall absent. - one day.

12 March 1909

Another exceptionally Stormy week. The average in attendance has fallen as low as 161.4, and the percentage to 85.4%. Twenty children i.e. more than 10% have been absent during the entire week. Severe colds are, generally, the cause of absence.

Attendance this week slightly improved. Average 164.2 Percentage 88.7%.

24 March 1909

The School was visited by Miss Robertson, Instructress in Needlework, this afternoon. Specimens of the work of the girls were examined, and various modifications in the Scheme of work in this Subject were discussed.

St III attendance still seriously affected. - 73% in this class In remaining classes, the attendance is rapidly reaching the normal. Percentage for the School 86.5%. Average = 161.8
