Five children, representing two families, (Moore and Fairbridge) were excluded from attendance to-day, owing to cases of whooping-cough in the respective houses.

Mr Treble visited the school this afternoon, and heard lessons given by the two student-teachers.

School closed at noon for the Whitsuntide Holidays.

Miss Stoker (U) and Miss Rogers (St) absent. The latter attended in the afternoon; absence due to inclement weather.

Miss Stoker returned this morning after an absence of two days due to an attack of Sciatica.
