School closed at noon to-day for the usual Easter Holiday. Date of re-opening April 20th.

Written examination of Stas II to VII commenced to-day

Dr Rutherford visited the school to-day and examined a number of children previously found defective.

Ed Registers Classes IV & VII found same correct. It is satisfactory to find that the attendances are improving. Saw drilling in school yard. Excellent exercise results.

30 April 1914

The school year terminated to-day. The average number present during the year has been 263, representing a percentage of 89.2.

1 May 1914

At the commencement of the new school year to-day, 76 children have been received from the junior dept. Of these, 51 have been placed in St 2, and 25 in St 3.
