Mr Dobson absent this afternoon in connection with an interview respecting an appointment at Ashington.

Mrs Gibson on supervision duty in the girls' playground this week. In the boys' playground, Mr Dobson takes the morning and Mr Corbett the afternoon playtime till further notice.

Attendance much reduced this week owing to colds &c (83½)

Mrs Ingram on supervision duty this week in the girls' playground.

School closed for the usual Christmas Holiday. (Two weeks)

10 January 1921

School re-opened this morning. Mrs Ingram absent, having undergone an operation during the holiday.

Heating apparatus broke down this morning

School closed at 9.15. Temperature of rooms 42°. Children requested to resume to-morrow morning under expectation that repairs may be executed to-day.

School again closed.

School re-opened this morning. Mrs Ingram resumed after an absence of one week. Miss Robson supervision duty this week in the girls' playground.

Mr S. G. Dobson terminated his engagement on the Staff of this school to take up an appointment at Ashington.

Mrs M. I. Grainger took up a temporary appointment here
