Mr Nuttall, Superintendent of Education, visited the School this afternoon with reference to Mr Corbett's application for a post in the Hexham Secondary School

Mr J. Corbett (St.6) terminated his appointment on the staff of this school to take up an appointment at the Hexham Grammar School

Mrs Grainger took up temporary work until the above vacancy should be filled.

Mrs Gibson absent this afternoon.

Mrs Gibson returned after an absence of 2½ days.

Mrs Gibson concluded her engagement on the staff of this school.

Miss Fordie commenced a temporary appointment vice Mrs Gibson (resigned).

At the request of the Correspondent, Mr Dinnin (St 5) withdrew from attendance this afternoon, having been in contact with a case of Scarlet fever.

School closed this afternoon for the usual Autumn week Holiday.
