Three pupils have been admitted during the week. War Savings stamps totalled 6/-. Weekly Attendance = 92.1 %

26 May 1933

War Savings on Monday totalled 8/6. On Tuesday from 11 am until noon Mr W.A. White gave the children of Classes IV a and V an interesting "TALK" upon simple "DESIGNS". On Wednesday, being Empire Day, each class from 11 am until 12 noon had a special lesson upon some appropriate subject, and from 3.15 pm all assembled in the Hall, where a suitable programme, including an address by the HEADMASTER, was carried out. Miss W. Galloway of South Shields began a fortnight's teaching practice on 22nd inst. Schedules of chief requisition received from "Dial House". Weekly attendance = 93.5 % Monthly Attendance = 93.2 %

2 June 1933

On Monday War Savings = 7/6. Four children have been admitted during the week and three have left: number on books now = 435. Miss Galloway finished her fortnight's experience to-day at 4.30 pm. School closes at 4.30 pm to-day re Whit. Holiday and opens on Wed. June 7th. Only the Caretaker's stock has arrived. Weekly attendance = 93 %.

School re-opened on Wednesday morning with a good
