Afternoon session was altered to 1.45p.m. to 3-50p.m. to enable children to attend Chapman's Show and Circus.

War Savings on 3rd. inst. = 6/- and on 10th. inst = 7/- During the past fortnight 4 children have been admitted and four marked LEFT. Attendance Officer last called at school on 10th. inst. Attendance for last week = 96%; this week 95%. A further section of the main requisition arrived during the week. TERM EXAMINATIONS have continued during this week.

War Savings on Monday = 9/- Piano was tuned by Mr. C. Mowell on 19th. inst. List of 17 boys and 22 girls sent to Headmaster of Monkseaton Senior School, and a list of 47 boys and 42 girls was sent to Headmaster of North Council SENIOR SCHOOL. MEDICAL INSPECTION took place on 20th. inst (Thurs. morning). Weekly Attendance = 93.3%.
