On Wednesday there were 70 children absent about 45 of whom were prevented by the heavy rain and strong wind from travelling to school from the Hill Heads district. Weekly attendance = 88.4%.

War-savings = 12/6. On Thursday 23rd. inst. the School Nurse inspected all children. Attendance Officer reported on 26th. inst. at 10 a.m. Weekly Attendance = 91%.

War-savings = 8/-. Attendance Officer reported on Monday 27th. ult. at 10.15 a.m. On Tuesday, Councillor Richley called and inspected school re "HEATING". On Wed. 29th. Dr. Gabriel called at 2pm to inspect Archer Storey in Class II b. Weekly Attendance = 90.6%
