19 January 1934 · HMI (Inspector)

War savings on Monday totalled 11/6. Attendance Officer reported on Monday morning and on Tuesday morning Mr Scothorne H.M.I. looked in to make enquiries about "Staffing", Nos. on Books, etc. Attendance for the week has fallen to 92%.

2 February 1934

A "Philips" 5 Valve Radio, 3 Class-room Loud Speakers plus 1 speaker in Headmaster's Room & Gramophone with "Pick-Up" have been installed during the week ending Jan. 26th. War Savings for the last two weeks totalled £1.2.6. On 1st Feb. the School Nurse inspected all children.

16 February 1934

War Savings on 5th. inst. = 7/6 and on 12th. = 12/6. Attendance Officer reported on 5th. inst. and 13th. inst. Miss Bates was absent on 13th. And again on Wednesday the 14th. inst., but returned to duty on Thursday the 15th. inst. 98 Volumes are now in the School Library which begins its first issue this afternoon. Weekly attendance = 92.2

23 February 1934

War Savings = 9/-. Attendance Officer reported on 19th. inst. Miss Dunlop - Supervisor of Physical Training - called at 2.15 pm. today in reference to a Class II at Physical Display on 12.3.34. Weekly attendance = 92.3%.
