Mr. W. A. White - Handwork Supervisor - N.E.C. - inspected some of the handwork, and left instruction with reference to looms for weaving. The cold wind and rain during the week caused a drop in the weekly attendance ... 88.3%.

1 May 1934

Grading Examination. Number of boys sitting = 70 : Number of Girls = 66. Total - 136. Registers were not marked. Mr. H. R. Turnbull acted as superintendent of the examination.

4 May 1934

War. Savings = 16/6. Nurse Turnbull was present on Wednesday to prepare children for Medical Inspection which takes place next Tuesday - 8th. inst. Weekly attendance = 90.8%

11 May 1934

War. Savings = 11/-. Cupboard in Hall has been altered and fitted with glass doors and will now be used as library cupboard. MEDICAL INSPECTION by Dr. Gabriel took place on 8th. instant when 21 boys and 19 girls were inspected. Attendance Officer reported on Monday at 10.30 a.m. On Thursday - 10th., being Ascension Day, children were granted permission to attend a special service in their own chapel or church; and all were in school before 9.30 a.m. Weekly attendance = 92.4%
