28 February 1936

National Savings = 10/- Attendance Officer called on Monday, Thursday, and to-day. Weekly attendance = 91.7%. Miss Robson has been absent now for two school weeks. Grading Examination Forms .. H. 40 (a) and (b) are now ready for sending to County Hall - NEWCASTLE.

2 March 1936

National Savings = 7/6 . Miss Robson returned to duty this morning.

6 March 1936

Owing to illness of caretaker METER READINGS have not been taken for two weeks. The attendance has fallen to 87.5% chiefly owing to strong wind and heavy rain causing a large number of bad colds etc among the children.

9 March 1936

National Savings = 7/6 . Attendance this morning is still unsatisfactory ..87%. Rain has fallen heavily to-day.

13 March 1936

TERM EXAMINATIONS are proceeding steadily. The school caretaker is not yet fit for full duty. Weekly attendance =89%.

20 March 1936

National Savings =10/-. Yesterday the Grading Examination Forms fully completed with names, numbers etc. arrived.
