Miss B.Bates was absent on WEDNESDAY, 1st inst and on THURSDAY, 2nd inst. owing to sore throat. Miss Bates returned to duty this morning.

16 April 1936

National Savings = 8/-. Weekly attendance = 95%. To-day, at noon, the school closes for the Easter Holiday, and re-opens on Monday 20th inst. at 9am.

24 April 1936

School re-opened on Monday with an attendance of 373. National Savings = 11/6. According to Medical Certificate Miss A.H. Robson will be absent for at least six weeks owing to having a broken ankle. Miss M.V. Medd began supply duty on 21st inst. On 22nd inst. Mr. F.G. Gilbertson, School Dentist, with the help of Nurse Trumbull, inspected all pupils of 8 and 9 years old. METER READINGS: { WATER- 4,647,000 / GAS- 949,000 / ELECTRIC- 668 upstairs / 748 downstairs. Forecast of Organisation for YEAR 1936-7 have been sent to School Correspondent (M. M'nuckle Esq). Form No.108 re Miss Robson's absence. Requisition Forms re B.B.C. Talks.
