…(leave sch. 2.45pm) . Attendance Office reported Monday and yesterday - Thursday. Weekly attendance = 92.6%. Miss Jean, P.T.Organiser, saw Classes IIIa and IIb during this afternoon. I left school 2.25pm in order to visit NEWCASTLE.

National Savings = 6/6. Attendance Officer called at 3.45pm on Monday and 2.45pm today (Friday). Weekly attendance = 90.4%. School Nurse (Miss Turnbull) called, re EYE cases, on Tuesday morning and yesterday, being Armistice Day, all children assembled in the Hall at 10.50am for a brief ceremony in addition to "listening in" to the Whitehall Ceremony. 110 children left school at 4.15pm. to see "Our Fighting Navy" shown at the Picture Hsse : two teachers and myself saw them safely there.

National Savings on Monday = 6/-. Attendance Officer called on Tuesday 16th. inst. at 10.40am. Strong winds and heavy rain have prevented many children from attending school this week : WEEKLY ATTENDANCE = 89.7%. Attendance Officer called to day at 4pm.

National Savings on Monday = 5/6. Penny Bank keeps totalling about the same week by week - approx. £2. Attendance Officer reported at 11.25am. On Tuesday afternoon - 23rd. inst. I left
