National Savings = 12/- Attendance Officer reported on Monday at 4.15pm. Owing to indisposition, Miss Bates was absent on Tuesday. 8.2.38 and again on Wednesday morning. Miss Bates returned to duty for the afternoon session on Wednesday, 9.2.38. Weekly attendance = 80.5%

National Savings = 10/-. A new TIME-TABLE signed by the Director on Saturday, 12/2/38, arrived by post on Monday, 14/2/38. Mr Burnham was absent on Monday 14th. inst.; Tuesday and Wednesday morning (severe cold). Mr Burnham returned to duty for the afternoon session of Wednesday, 16/2/38. One thousand TERM REPORT FORMS of a new type arrived on Tuesday 15/2/38. Attendance Officer reported on Monday 4.15pm and again on Thursday 17/2/38. Weekly attendance = 84.7%. To prevent the spread of infection, certain Library Books for home reading have at various times been destroyed by order of the local health officer.
