The attendance for the week ending Sept 6th was 81.9. This is due no doubt to the continued night air activity over the area.

Dr. Pirie visited to examine Sheila Randall 3a. of 89 Chestnut Av. in connection with application for County Milk.
Weekly % attendance 86.1. The school is still suffering in this respect from lack of sleep owing to air raid alarms.

Air Raid alarm went at 3.25 pm. Children in shelters till 4.50 pm when All-clear sounded.

The school closed at 4.30 pm for a fortnight. This being the Autumn Holiday. Due to open Oct. 4 at 9 am.
