Highest Attendance since outbreak of war. 341 present 264 on Books.

12 March 1941

Mr. Howarth, Mr. Innis, and two wardens have carried out a Gas Test, and Gas Mask Inspection with all pupils present 242. A note has been made of all defects and masks to be changed. Small to medium.

12 March 1941

Mr. G. Pongher has seen the Correspondent Mr. Muckle (Sct. treasories) and discussed the problem of trains arriving late. Mr. Muckle has expressed the opinion that where a matter of minutes is concerned the Headmaster can handle the business satisfactorily

13 March 1941

The Caretaker reports that the Sanitary Inspector has visited the school. Several lavatories are still out of order, but a further note to milne has brought men today. Since the last frost 2 if not 3 have been awaiting repairs and these affect the whole battery
