Conference in County Hall. This School to absorb Evacuees with Class in Hall and one more teacher

All children County and Evacuees to school to be instructed as to Education

28 August 1944

School opened at 9 a.m. for full-time instruction. Mrs Watson joined the Staff as Supply Teacher. Miss Eileen Curragh and Miss Joan MacKay commenced on Aug 31st as Students. Miss Joan MacKay left today having failed to reach required standard in School Certificate Exam.

29 August 1944

School closed at 12 noon to receive Evacuees from the South

1 September 1944

School opened at 9am Rest Centre cleared at 10.45pm on Thurs Aug 31st 1944 Monthly Circular has been read by all.

7 September 1944

Miss E. Alexander (Physical training) and Miss Jacques to School A.M. Mrs. A. Rougha to County Course in Religious Knowledge at Morpeth. Sept. 6th. 7th. and 8th.
