Mr. G. Pongher continues & completes taking of lectures on Child Health at County Hall Newcastle on Tyne (a.m. & p.m.). Distributed to children (for parents) leaflets from Education Office showing new boundary lines for Whitley & Monkseaton County Primary Schools — to become operative as from Weds 2, March 1949.

Mr Baxter visits School a.m. to take Stock of School desks. With Miss A Crisp's (Headmistress) permission Miss M. Simmons (Class 7) spends morning observing work done in Std I of the Whitley South Infants' School. This is done preparatory to the transfer of this class into this School on Mar. 2nd Miss Simmons will then have charge of the class.
