Miss A.H. Robson retired from the teaching profession today after giving 35 years continuous service to this School in particular. The occasion was marked by a suitable presentation made by Staff and Pupils. During an informal tea party the Staff wished Miss Robson a long and happy retirement.

Headmaster visits Cullercoats School to discuss with Mr F. Whiteman (Head) the Cullercoats playing field. Mr Whiteman raised no objections providing all other contingencies were in order.

School closed all day as building is used as Polling Station for U.D.C. election.
