Mr. Neville Brammer (Q.M.) today joins the permanent staff of this School and is given charge of Std 4a or Class 1.
Miss Sandham and Miss Sutherland, two students from Alnwick Tr. College for Women, visit the School today (a.m. & p.m.) to generally observe the classes at work. This is part of their preliminary training.
Police Sgt. Hogg visited School (a.m.) to interview John Morley (Std 3b) and Norman Parker (Std 2b) about an alleged stolen tent. The boys were interviewed by the Sergeant in the Head's room and in the presence of the Headmaster.
Certain alterations in the Time Table have had to be effected as from today. These are due to the Headmistress of the Infant School introducing a new Time Table thereby creating a need for time readjustment in the use of the School Yards for P.T. No time is lost in any subject.- 13 June 1949
