School resumes after one week's holiday. Three pupils ( Maureen Pipkin, Pamela Tomlinson and Therese Hindley) go to Whitley Grammar Sch. p.m. for interview.

28 June 1949

Headmaster visits Head of Cullercoats Sch. for consultation on use of that School's playing field (a.m.). Mrs. Wightman, Head of Cullercoats School raised no objections to Rockcliffe Sch. children sharing their playing field providing the two Education Authorities were agreeable. John Barton, David Foard, Alan Hogg and Alan Stuart went this p.m. for interview at the Whitley Grammar School.
