School joins Tynemouth & District Schools Football League and the first team ever in the history of the School to play in League Football meets Cullercoats School. The school loses by 4 goals to nil but gives a display which augurs well for the future. School colours are black & gold.

7+ Assessment begins today. Subject taken: Arithmetic from 10.55 - 12 (noon). By permission of the L.E.A. School is closed at 3.30 pm. to facilitate marking of booklets. This was completed at 5pm. 66 children were due to take part.
