An excellent Xmas Party was given to the Std 1 age group from 3.30 till 6 p.m. Tea was served in the School Canteen where every help was given by a very willing section of the Canteen Staff.

Mrs Hazon & Miss Smithies arrive at School at 9.20 a.m. Delay was caused by extremely bad travelling conditions (snow + ice). School Attendance for week is 88.6%.

Xmas Parties (enjoyed by all) were given to 2nd, 3rd +4th class age groups on consecutive nights, that is, from 3.30 till 6 p.m. A ten-ft Xmas Tree covered with varied coloured lights & presents added greatly to the festivities. Tea on each occasion was served in the School Canteen where the Canteen Staff voluntarily gave willing assistance. On Monday (18/12/50) an entertaining Film Show was given to the whole School.
