Mrs Hazon and Miss Detchon take a party of sixteen children to Newcastle (Swimming Baths Hall) to see Arena Theatre Players perform "Toad in Toad Hall". Suitable arrangements were made with parents & the party left School at 3.45 p.m.

Mrs Reid (Eng. Lect. Kenton Lodge T.C.) visits students today. School practice finishes today. First list of Grading Exam results arrive — Group I John Rose, George Laffey, Charles Dingwall, Kenneth Rosley, Barbara Downs, Sylvia Armstrong. Group II John Thomlinson, David Eltringham, Terence Gibson, Anne Cochrane, Wendy Thompson. School Attendance for week is 90.7%.
