School attendance for the week is 93.3%. Mrs Atkin (née Miss B. Smithies) terminates her appointment at this School today. As the School is over-staffed she has been transferred to Whitley North Junior School. An end of term service was held late afternoon in the Hall after which the School began its Summer Vacation of five weeks.

3 September 1951

New School Year begins after Summer Holiday. It is pleasing to record that the School Building is scrupulously & delightfully clean. Full credit must be given to Mr Edward Whinham for the obviously hard & painstaking work he has done since he recently began his duties as Caretaker of this School.
