I am informed by telephone at 10.30 a.m. that Mrs C Davis (Canteen Auxiliary Gd. II) is not well enough to undertake her duties today. Mrs M. Johnson undertakes work temporarily. Authority notified.

Mrs C Davis resumes her canteen duties. Mrs Davis admitted she could have given me adequate notice of her return by private telephone, but because she did not do so, Mrs Johnson (temporary) was caused to come to School unnecessarily.
