…work & gave a most unbecoming display of tantrums by bawling at the children. When spoken to by me she shouted back and refused to come to my room to be pacified. Mr Baglee was informed of the incident. All this follows a similar demonstration yesterday.

Once again I have to record Mrs C Davis inability to control the children. There was sheer pandemonium at the wash basins today. News reached School this morning of the death of King George VI.

A short & simple service in memory of the late King was held in School this morning. Dr Everdell interviews Mrs Watson and her son David who is a pupil of this School. The boy has some complex about 'being afraid to come to School,' but he is unable to say why. Dr Everdell suggests his transfer to Whitley North Junior School. This will be done on monday next.
