Admitted this morning Mary Ann Foggin Ives aged seven years. This child has never been to school before and has (pro temp) been placed in the III Class among the children of five years. (E.J.B)

Standard I children went out of doors for their Geography Lesson this morning until 10.30.

School closed this afternoon for Whitsuntide Holidays.

Class I have gone on to the beach for an out-door lesson in Geography.

The work of the school is making fairly good progress; the attendance is fairly good. despite the fact that there are some minor cases of sickness, and that a few of the children are absent on account of their parents' holidays.

The Class III children went out for an "observation" walk this morning, for an hour.
