Miss Orange absent with permission, in order to visit the dentist, this afternoon.

Class III have gone out for an "observation" walk, for one hour.

Medical Inspection of children admitted to school since March 31st 1908.

School closed at noon for Summer Vacation

30 August 1909

School resumed this morning, the attendance is very poor many children being still away from home.

Admitted this morning Wm Ernest Thornton eight years of age, who, on account of delicate health has not been to school before, & does not know sufficient to enable him to go into Class I (St I). He will remain in the lowest class for six weeks, probably.

Admitted, Norman Welch, seven years of age - also of delicate health. He has been placed (pro tempo) in the I Class instead of St I.

Miss May Rosalind Harper has commenced duties as a Pupil-Teacher in this school.

31 August 1909

Freda Campbell 7 yrs old - not been to school before, admitted this morning - in Class III pro tempo.
