The attendance has been exceedingly poor during this month. The monthly returns show that 41 children have been absent during the whole of the month. The average attendance for the month is 200, out of 241 children on the roll, and the average number present for the month is 212; the percentage being only 83% EB.

The school w. closed at noon today for the Christmas Vacation. EB

The school has not resumed this morning owing to repairs being carried on, the heating apparatus not being in working order. EB

School re-opened this morning after three weeks closure. Nine children have left this school to join the new Roman Catholic School. Nine new scholars have been admitted here. The sickness, which was very prevalent before the school closed, seems to have somewhat abated,
