School closed at noon today because of the expected arrival of another party of evacuees.

School closed for evacuation purposes.

1 September 1944

School re-opened today. There are 60 evacuee children on the register.

11 September 1944

There are now 74 evacuee children on register.

12 September 1944

Several children are leaving again for London.

13 September 1944

Mrs Mary Lamb ended duty as supply teacher.

14 September 1944

Miss Mitchell, an L.C.C. teacher, began duties today.

29 September 1944

Mrs Smith ended duty as supply teacher.

2 October 1944

Miss F. M. Parramore began duty as a C.A.

6 October 1944

A leaking pipe in the hot-water system reported today. Pipe very corroded.

10 October 1944

Mr Crozier says pipe will probably last another year. Pipe upright at far end of hall. An L.C.C. liason officer called to get number of L.C.C. children on roll.
