Mr. Simpson H.M.I. visited school for a short time during the morning.

School closed for five weeks Summer Holiday.

School re-opened this morning. Twenty eight new children were admitted, bringing the numbers to 143. Clarke & Smith radiogram, trolley with built-in speaker etc received during holiday.

Members of the Whitley Bay Girls Choir, which meets in Junior department, entered our premises, used staff toilet & tore down toilet roll. Caretaker instructed to lock all doors in future.
