School closed for the usual Xmas Holiday

School re-opened to day. Frances Binks (St. T). absent owing to infectious trouble in the household.

A visit of inspection was paid to this department during the afternoons of these days, by H. M. Assistant Inspectors, Messrs Brockbank and Mills.

Mr Treble visited the school this afternoon, for the purpose of hearing a lesson given by the Student-teacher (Frances E. Binks)

Third quarter of the school year concluded to-day. From Monday Jan 31st, the children are transferred from the North School Boys' Dept to the North School Girls' Dept. The services of Messrs Parker and Burnham, who have been in charge of Stds 4 & 7, are replaced by those of Misses Bell and Jennings of the North School Girls' Dept. For the next three months this school meets in the morning.
