The resistance of the protesting parents has weakened considerably during this week, as no less than 83 of the pupils "on strike" have been admitted in addition to 3 children from outside of the area. The total number now on Books = 413. War Savings for the week = 9/6. On an average each week the children save about 25/- by the use of the PENNY BANK. A few transfers have been found necessary to adjust a few misfits owing to the haste in which the children were at first classified. Weekly attendance = 89.8%
