The numbers on Register have risen to 321. On Monday - Sept. 5th. Miss Nora Patterson - a Student from the Northern Counties School of Cookery etc - began a week's practice. On Tuesday - 6th. inst - Miss Richards, of the National Publicity Council, spoke to all the children assembled for abat 20 minute on "MILK". The attendance officer has been into school several times this week. This afternoon Miss N. Patterson finished her week's teaching practice, and I have sent in a REPORT concerning her work. Weekly attendance = 92.8%

Seven pupils have been admitted during the week and one has left. Since school re-opened on 22.8.32 the children have bought WAR SAVINGS stamps to the value of 27/-. The school nurse - Miss Turnbull - called at 2.15 p.m. on Wed. 14th. inst. to make arrangements for inspection of Eye-Defects. Almost every day Mr. Jackson - attendance officer - has been present concerning some statistics regarding the "STRIKE" (so called). Weekly attendance = 93%
