The attendance has gradually fallen owing to colds, coughs, sore throat etc. Weekly attendance = 75.1% - lowest since August '32. Requisitions for NEEDLEWORK MATERIAL and PHYSICAL TRAINING APPARATUS were sent to the Correspondent on 19th. Miss Feggetter has been absent all the week owing to illness : Miss Gentles has had charge of her class.

Miss Feggetter returns to duty this morning. Miss Gentles finished "Supply" duty on Friday - 20th inst. Today War Savings only totalled 2/6 while Penny Bank remained steady at approx. £1.

Owing to severe frost the Boys' and Girls' W.Cos were frozen on 24th. (Tuesday) and on 25th. two burst pipes were discovered in the Girls' W.Cos. Clock was taken away by Steele of Whitley Rd. to be cleaned. Part of the above requisitions has arrived. Weekly attendance = 80.5%.

War Savings on Monday only totalled 2/- but Penny Bank kept up to average. On Wednesday Miss A. Bell was absent owing to severe cold : I took her class. On Thursday and Friday, Miss Bell was still absent. Weekly attendance = 83.7%
