Penny Bank subscriptions totalled £1.7 and War Savings 3/6. On Wednesday - 8th inst - Mr C. Nuttall - N.C.C. arrived at 8.50 and remained until noon during which time he examined "Scripture", inspected Log Book, Stock Book, Time Book, Punishment Book etc. and arranged for five pupils to be transferred from the Infant Dept. to Class IIa. On 9th inst. the Rev. W.E.Bellew called at 11.15 and inspected Registers and "Out offices". Weekly attendance = 90.3%.

War Savings on Monday totalled 6/6. The second NEEDLEWORK REQUISITION arrived the same day, was checked and entered into Stock Book. Two boys and three girls were transferred from the Infant Dept. to Class IIa. Weekly attendance = 89.5%.

War Savings only totalled 2/6. Attendance Officer called on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. On Wednesday the School Nurse inspected individually all the children, and discovered a few "dirty-heads". Owing to severe weather there has been a fall in attendance. Absentees today total 74. Weekly Attendance = 87.2%. Monthly Attendance = 87.7%.
