16 February 1940

The attendance remains low. 81.8% 9 children are absent through measles.

20 February 1940

The remainder of the children were examined by the dentist. During the next two or three weeks approx. 16 children will attend the dental clinic daily.

21 February 1940

Miss Hargreaves visited the school to hear Miss Jewitt teach, but unfortunately only a small group of that class was present.

26 February 1940

Miss Hargreaves visited the school again.

1 March 1940

The per-centage attendance for the week is 86.8. There have been 3 new cases of German Measles.

8 March 1940

Eleven new cases of German Measles have been reported during the week and six children are absent through being in contact.

The school closed to-day at noon for the usual Easter Holiday.
