October Circular read by Staff. Councillor Heppe in school advising me that it might be profitable to renew application to Tynemouth Corporation for the use of the Links Road Playing Field for children of this school. I am informed verbally by the Secretary of Whitley north Junior School that the new School Dentist is Miss Slisher.

I write to Town Clerk of Tynemouth Corporation asking for presentation of my letter to Parks & Sands Committee making application for use of Links Road Playing Field, Cullercoats on Fridays only from 3 to 4 pm.

Now that Staff numbers are reduced by one there are only six classes instead of seven as for last year. Consequently there are 19 surplus desks in School. viz 11 Box Desks — 7 x 15", 3 x 16". 1 x 17" 8 Dual Desks — 1 x 14", 3 x 15" 4 x 16" Constable Scott in School pm. asking for information (addresses only) of Thomas Schofield & Geoffrey Lee who are accused of stealing apples from a garden.
