13 September 1951

David Wm. Cawdell - 23, Chollerford Av., W.bay (pupil) fell in School Yard during afternoon playtime & sustained a green-stick of left wrist. He was treated for shock & taken home & then to his doctor by Miss Smith (own car). Miss Feggetter was supervising children at the time of accident. The incident was purely incidental & involved no other child. The Director was informed immediately.

14 September 1951

School Attendance this week is 94.3%.

18 September 1951

Requisitions Dept. (Ed. Committee) informed of surplus desks. (see 12/9/51).

19 September 1951

Mrs Cawdell in school that David's wrist was in plaster but he would be in school next monday (see 13.9.51.)

20 September 1951

Leave School at 10am to see a film "Every day you can hear" at Coliseum at express invitation of the manager. It was shown privately to Head Teachers, Magistrates, Clergy, Leaders of Youth movements etc. & can be described as a high morality film.

21 September 1951

School attendance for the week is 93.4%.

28 September 1951

School attendance for the week is 92%.
